I notice that in a lot of the blogs other learners choose Habit 7/12 as their easiest habit. But Play doesn't always come easy for me. Not that I don't like to play - I do. But it's not always my first choice - I suffer from the affliction of taking things too seriously. Probably what comes easiest for me is to accept responsibility in my own learning. I have always valued learning new things and I get easily bored if I don't have something new to look forward to. So this experience should keep me vastly entertained!
Probably the hardest habit for me is number 3: seeing problems as an opportunity to learn. When you tend to take things too seriously, then problems seem more like an albatross around your neck that you want to get rid of as soon as you possibly can. I have gotten better at this - they say you mellow as you age ;-) but it's still an area I need to work (or maybe play) on.
Week 5, Thing 10 (Online Image Generator)
I had a little bit of difficulty with this particular "thing" but with the help of a co-worker, I finally got it to do what I wanted it to do. I will try and go back and play a little more with this as it was fun to create the persona - sort of like playing with Betsy McCall (most of you are too young to remember this).
